FAQ & Pricing Guide

Straight answers about
wedding flowers.

How pricing works, when to book, what happens after you design — everything couples ask us, answered plainly.

How does pricing work?
Transparently. Our online studio shows you a real, itemized price as you build — every bouquet, centerpiece, and boutonniere priced as you design it. No waiting weeks for a mystery quote. Your proposal lists every item so you can see exactly where your budget goes and adjust anything.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Every wedding is different — guest count, season, and flower choices all matter. The fastest answer is to spend five minutes in our online builder: pick your palette and pieces and you'll see your real total instantly. You can scale up or down until the number feels right.
How do deposits and payments work?
A 50% deposit holds your date, with the balance due 30 days before the wedding. Your proposal is an estimate based on your selections; final pricing may vary slightly with seasonal availability, and we'll always contact you before anything changes.
When should we book our wedding florist?
Most couples book 6–12 months ahead, and popular dates (May–June, September–October) go earliest. That said, we've made beautiful weddings happen on short timelines — if your date is close, call us at 781-595-2700 and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Can we change our flowers after booking?
Yes. Your design lives in your online account, and you can refine colors, swap varieties, and adjust pieces as your planning evolves. We'll confirm final selections together before your date.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes — we deliver and set up your wedding flowers ourselves. Every arrangement is hand-crafted at our shop at 793 Western Ave in Lynn and handled by our team from cooler to ceremony.
What if a flower we chose isn't available?
Flowers are seasonal, living things. If something in your design isn't at its best for your date, we'll contact you and suggest beautiful alternatives — nothing gets substituted without you knowing.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Lynn and serve the North Shore and Greater Boston — Swampscott, Marblehead, Salem, Peabody, Saugus, Nahant, Danvers, Beverly, Lynnfield, Revere, Boston, and beyond. If you're not sure whether we cover your venue, just ask.
Can we talk to a person instead of using the online studio?
Always. The online studio is there for couples who love to design; the phone is there for everyone else. Call 781-595-2700 or email salvy@salvytheflorist.com and we'll walk through your vision together.
